DIY SCENTED CANDLES

Things you will need to make a candle.

Measuring Glass or any kind of equipment in which you have to pour your wax

  1. Wax

  2. Colors or Food Colors

  3. Container for some water

  4. Jars.

  5. Essential oils or Perfumes for the fragrances

  6. Cotton wick or Wooden wick.

Procedure to make a scented candle.
Melt 1lb of wax in the pitcher over a double boiler set up with the saucepan heat to 185c
When the melted wax is at 185F add 1 oz of your fragrance of choice.
As the wax cools, place the wicks inside the 8oz jars, centering as best you can. Secure in place with pencils or chopsticks.
When the wax has cooled to 135F carefully pour into the prepared jars.
Let the jars cool overnight. Before lighting, trim the wicks to1/4 inch.
Light and enjoy.

JAR CANDLES
Jar candles are always impressive and are easy to make.

You need melted wax, like the previous one but with this, you can add flowers, fruits, spices and fill the jar with half water and add some fragrance oils or perfume and fill the topmost layer with the wax oil and end it putting a cotton wick or wooden wick.

YOU CAN MELT THE WAX OF THE NORMAL CANDLE OR CRUSH AND MELT IT TO USE IT AGAIN TO MAKE YOUR OWN CANDLE.
